Join us with Artist, Brittany Caldwell on Sunday, June 25th, as she guides you through an exploration of your creativity using watercolor paint on paper. This event is for any level of painting experience; especially if you're ready to meet your inner artist for the first time! All supplies will be provided for painting and drawing, including a botanical image to color as you would like. Painting time will begin with a demonstration on color mixing and how to use the materials. Guests will walk away with two small paintings, their reusable palette of paint, watercolor knowledge, and the discovery of their unique approach to painting!
This event is BYOB.

"Watercolor layers and blooms in surprising ways; lean in to play and trust its behavior."
Brittany Caldwell has been drawing and painting since early childhood. She earned her Bachelors Degree in Studio Art from University of Illinois, Chicago. Her approach to painting begins with a mindset practice; one that she's developed after six years of instructing diverse groups of people.
Brittany's personal artwork is influenced by calm capacities of nature: plants, wildlife, and the sky. Her use of bold color and atmospheric backgrounds intrigue viewers. Birds, florals, and intricate line-work are in harmony within her paintings. She often includes the moon as her subject to imply life's many phases.
