Welcome to our Artist’s Marketplace, where we host a variety of local artisans each month. It’s like a year-round art fair at The Empty Corner!

With a passion for sustainability and supporting small businesses, we love to display a variety of works by local artists!

Check out some great pieces and stop by to see our wall of artwork get updated. Ceramics, prints, jewelry, fabrics, woodwork- you name it!

FAQs

The Empty Corner team looks through any pictures of your artwork you may submit, alongside what is available to view on social media. If we love it, we will reach out to schedule a phone call and get to know you!
We make sure all of our artists are either from the Northwest Suburbs, or from the Chicagoland area. We love to support local businesses and artists!
The typical contract lasts about a month, though some artisans choose to extend their contract length.
A month in our marketplace area costs $100.
Artisan products will have an 80/20 consignment fee. 80% of sales will go towards the artist, while we collect the remaining 20%.
We believe that we can properly advocate for and promote your work to our customers, and generate traffic and excitement for whatever your creations may be!
We want to dedicate ourselves to representing your art in every area possible. Whether it is through social media, or with a gallery employee that always around to communicate your brand and process to curious customers, we hope to nourish and support artists like you.
We schedule a phone call to get to know you and your pieces. We will also dedicate a social media post to you as our #marketplacemonday artist for a week! Frequent posting to our story to promote you as an artist is assured.
